I used a gradient then used these cloud brushes I downloaded.

Ah okay. Where do you download cloud brushes, or any form of new brush for GIMP?

On here if ya want type in "cloud brushes GIMP" save them to your desktop then extract the files in GIMP>Brushes to do this go into program files find gimp and search through each until you find the brushes section also check the section after your done becuase sometimes it creates a folder within the brushes folder just click and drag them into brushes.
